Welcome to Disabilities Network of Eastern CT (DNEC)
We are one of the five Centers for Independent Living offering advocacy for people with disabilities in CT. DNEC works with the community of Eastern CT that includes New London County, Windham County, and a part of Tolland County. We offer a wide variety of services and encourage you to look over our website.
Our Board is an eager group of people with a variety of life experiences that keep them motivated to ensure that the philosophy and mission statement of this agency are followed to best meet the needs of our consumers. We also have the responsibility of looking at the future of DNEC and its impact on those who look to us to advocate for independence in life activities, community resources, and meeting their personal independent living goals.
The DNEC Board of Directors meets from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month. If you have a special interest in ensuring that people and families in our communities who live with disabilities are living their lives to the fullest, then consider being a member of our Board.
